4 Best Peloton Alternatives (2026)

FitnessUpdated 2026-07-12

People leave Peloton for two very different reasons: the All-Access Membership costs more than they ride, or they never had the hardware and the app alone wasn't worth it. Nothing is prorated when you go, so the practical question is what replaces the classes — and, if you own a Bike, whether you can keep using it. The options below are split that way.

Peloton alternatives, compared

Cancelling usually means you still need the thing. These are the alternatives worth looking at — with the honest downside of each.

Apple Fitness+

From about $9.99/mo (included with Apple One Premier)

Best for: Apple Watch owners who used Peloton mostly for strength, yoga, and HIIT rather than the bike

  • Roughly a quarter of an All-Access Membership, cancels in Apple's own subscription settings in seconds, and one subscription covers the whole family.
  • Practically requires an Apple Watch for the on-screen metrics, and the cycling content is thin next to Peloton's instructor roster and leaderboard.

Zwift

From about $19.99/mo

Best for: Cyclists who want to keep riding and care about training data more than instructors

  • Turns riding into a multiplayer world with structured training plans, and it keeps a bike you already own useful instead of parked.
  • It needs a compatible smart trainer or power/cadence sensors — a stock Peloton Bike does not pair cleanly without a workaround, so budget for hardware.

ClassPass

From about $19/mo for a small credit pack

Best for: People who realized they miss real studios and other humans more than a screen

  • One subscription gets you into cycling, yoga, and strength studios near you with no single-studio commitment, and you can drop to the cheapest tier in months you're busy.
  • Credits run out fast — peak-time and popular classes cost more of them — so heavy users end up paying well above an All-Access Membership.

Nike Training Club plus free YouTube rides

Free

Best for: Anyone who cancelled because they only worked out a few times a month

  • Nike Training Club's full library went free permanently, and there are complete instructor-led ride and run classes on YouTube at no cost — nothing renews, so there is nothing to cancel on the wrong platform next time.
  • No metrics, no leaderboard, and no progress tracking tied to your bike, so the accountability that made Peloton work for you disappears.

Still need to cancel Peloton?

How you cancel Peloton depends on which membership you have. The All-Access Membership (for owners of a Peloton Bike, Tread, Row, or Guide) is canceled online through your Peloton account by the primary account holder. A Peloton App Membership (App One / App+) is canceled wherever you signed up — on the Peloton website if you subscribed directly, or through the Apple App Store / Google Play if you subscribed in the app. Canceling on the wrong platform won't stop the charge.
